Here are some photos looking back at the place my son and I have often gone for hikes on Sunday evenings over the past year. Its had quite a dramatic change.
The first picture here is taken last January, with added dinosaurs for Will.
And here it is how we found it in May one weekend after the heather had caught fire. We aren’t sure if it was deliberate burning or just caught fire. It wasn’t a very dry weekend.
And finally, here it is last weekend on a chilly evening looking like an African savannah, just in time for the Planet Earth II episode on grasslands.
